Students begin by listing all of the small chores they must complete each week. These don’t have to be completed on a particular schedule, nor do they have to be completed every day. Rather than cluttering a calendar with small chores, students will maintain a separate To Do list for one week. (You may have them maintain their Weekly Planner and To Do list during the same week.)

Students create their To Do list, using the symbol key on Lesson 23 Worksheet A. The purpose is to give students a view of their accomplishments for a week, and see what items do not get finished, and what they procrastinate on.

Students will share their end-of-week reflections, and brainstorm ways they will maintain a customized To Do list going forward.
